Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
Whats great between Sennheiiser hd 560s and Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro for gaming and music listening. So I'm looking for to get good headphones with good comfort and sound quality. Also I'm don't really like lot of bass because in games bass is bit distracting. So I came across these 2 headphones that have good comfort and sounds quality around same price. And the sennheiser are open back ones. So I need to know if I use a external mic does it gonna leak lots of sound that it gonna pick up by the microphone? And if
I have the dt 770 pro. Pretty damn good in gaming but the treble is a little harsh when listening to music. What about iems?
Hi, I'm looking at the DT 770 Pro X, as I've heard it sounds great for FPS gaming, but the lack of a 3.5 mm jack concerns me because I will need to use a tabletop mic. Is a tabletop mic ok for FPS gaming, or will that be an issue? I've never used one before. I also cannot speak with my friends when I move over to my Xbox for casual couch gaming. If the DTs aren't a good fit for me, what would you recommend instead (still with a focus on FPS) that can use a V-MODA mic? Or what would you recommend as a supplementary
I can say that the DT 770 pros are better for video editing, serious gaming and very comfortable for long sessions. That being said the sound profile is not a fun or honestly all that enjoyable. I end up having to EQ them to adjust the treble or I get a headache. Most streamers get them because it became trendy more than anything. The FiiO FT1s have a much more enjoyable sound and are fine for most uses.
As the title suggests I'm in a tossup between the two, everyone is pretty much an even split 50/50 between the 2 when it comes to gaming specifically. The Fiio seems like the better overall pick but for multiplayer games specifically from what I gather the DT770's have slightly better imaging and you are able to pinpoint enemy footsteps a little easier which is what I'm after. Am open to other closed back suggestions under about 500AUD, however these 2 seem to be the primary 2 recommended anyway. K371's were rath
Was tired of having a wire connected to my DT 770s, and I didn’t want any other headset. So I made these wireless with a 2.4ghz Lekato receiver. The transmitter is connected to my cheap uphoria UM2 interface. I also bought a Bluetooth receiver that I haven’t attached yet so I can listen to my phone as well. Latency is VERY low and range is great, highly recommend trying it! dt 770 lekato receiver uphoria um2 DT 770
What’s the best headphone for over ear use? Train ride commutes, light gym use , casual use with iPhone. Listening to the Quran recitations and beats. I've had my DT770 pro's for years and I've loved them mainly because of how incredibly comfortable they are to wear for hours on end. I'd like to upgrade but I'm not sure where to look. I've heard that Beyerdynamic isn't really great (anymore?) but I've never had anything better so it's hard to compare for me. I have an Audient iD14 mk2 audio interface. Any recommendations? I prefer closed back. My budget is around €250. Any suggestions are welcome. dt770 pro beyerdynamic audient iD14 mk2 closed back Need up
Con The Cons: Real-World Issues
DT 770 Pro vs Hyper X Cloud Flight 2 I'm looking for a new headset for gaming, music, and productivity work. I've had two pairs of the DT 770 Pros before and absolutely love how they sound. But both times I eventually broke the audio jack by tripping over the cable. I'm considering a wireless pair this time and I heard the HyperX Flight 2's are good? It's more within my budget but I'm worried about the audio quality. I tried a Steelseries Arctis 2 wireless headset a few years back and they sounded horrible. Plus th
Heya folks, I never thought finding good closed-back headphones for PS5 without a DAC/amp would be this annoying. I’ve been using the **HyperX Cloud II (OG Kingston)** for years and love them, but they’re on their last legs. I’m looking for an upgrade, ideally something more audiophile-leaning with better clarity, soundstage, and detail, while still being fun for games. I’ll be using these for music as well, not just gaming. The **Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro** looks like the obvious step up, but it’s pricey where I
I'm here hunting for new headphones and help with a specific issue. I have brought the DT 770 pro twice now, and both times i've had the same issue. The cable quality is poor and within one year the headphones break the wire stops working and sound stops coming out the right ear. This happened with my previous pair within 1 month and I got them replaced. It's now been 2 years and the same thing happened again. I am fed up with this poor build quality. I am looking for a nice pair of headphones, preferably bluet
Alright so i was recommended to buy the zh3 to drive my dt 770 pro 250 ohm headphones here on this subreddit. i purchased them and have everything setup but now im finding it not loud even though im at 100% on everything. so i did my own research and apparently the zh3 dac/amp combo is NOT enough to drive theese cans even though i was told it was. The real problem: ZH3 doesn’t swing enough voltage apparently DT 770 250 Ω wants roughly 4-5 Vrms for proper loudness & headroom ZH3 headphone out delivers well under
