Fluance RT82 FTW I was pretty happy with my AT-LP3 with a VM95E. But after my "Made For Sonos" Victrola Stream stopped working (at my restaurant), I took the AT player in to replace it. (FWIW there, it made a huge difference.) To replace the AT player at home, I thought I'd try the Fluance RT82 - and omg I cannot stop listening. Fluance RT-82 help My fluance developed a thump thump noise with every rotation. Its not super loud but can be heard clearly during quiet parts or between songs. It happens with all records, and once per spin. It seems to happen over the tiniest of warp. Like warps that im POSITIVE made no noise previously. I have checked downforce with a scale, took everything apart and cleaned it looking for anything obvious and saw nothing. Is this just a tracking issue? If I get an OM20 will my problem persist? Any
[r/turntables] You'd mad to buy Fluance in Europe - over priced here with poor after sale support or availability of spare parts. Pro-ject debut carbon (of some variety), Rega P2, even the Audio Technica LPW40/50 are all better choices.
Fluance rt82 motor replacement? I Purchased a Fluance rt82 off of facebook looking to hopefully get it working again with a quick fix but it seems I may have bit off more than I can chew here and there isnt much help from fluance with what to do! The table turns on but the motor doesn't spin. Ive been through all the basic troubleshooting recommendations given from fluances website but still ive got nothing. Im pretty sure its just the motor itself has taken the crap but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to buy a
