Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
go with legion , better than asus in cooling and 1TB extra for ssd that is awesome, difference from ultra 7 to ultra 9 is NOT noticeable. Go with Legion
I wanted a really good backpack and this one seemed relatively cheap for the quality. Fit Legion 7 Pro, FiiO FT1, Fanttik V10 vacuum and duster(OCD), Earbuds, full size Razer mouse, power supply. Quality seems very good and I recommend it. Has corner padding for the laptop. [link] https://i.redd.it/bt1dfday97lg1.jpeg Legion 7 Pro Legion 7 Pro
Legion 9i - only one left! https://preview.redd.it/7j39lc1ie8jg1.png?width=3796&format=png&auto=webp&s=f022417048d25e0a966c0d8d6641839b5605741c I have this laptop and it is truly the best laptop of 2025 imo. The biggest downside from people is that it uses IPS. I don't know of any other IPS panels that is HDR 400 and in HDR mode, I truly wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless it is Tandem OLED. The Legion series has been pretty solid in my experience, though I haven't touched the 5070 model specifically. Build quality on the 7i line is usually decent - not the absolute best but definitely not flimsy either 🤔 For the games you mentioned you're probably gonna be more than fine performance-wise, those aren't super demanding titles. The OLED display might actually be overkill for strategy games but hey, everything's gonna look crisp 😂 I'd maybe check some reviews on the thermals though since that's w
Lenovo are (generally) very good! I love their Legion series.
Legion for the higher wattage GPU and the better overall cooling system. Zephyrus for the better overall portability and battery life.
I have a budget of around 1.6lakhs and I wanted a really good gaming laptop with future proofing so i narrowed down the requirements Cpu - anything above Ryzen 7 260 Gpu- min 5060(115w) SSD - 1tb Display -100%srgb/ dc-ip3 well if it has hdr then good otherwise also it's fine and both ips or oled is good So i narrowed down the choices to legion or omen Both r good but omen has option of 240hz but legion has only 165hz, but legion has better color gamut and hdr support whereas en doesn't But omen has last year f
Zephyrus due to the following reasons : - full metallic build - better speakers - centred and bigger trackpad and keyboard - is more slimmer The legion might run a little cooler and have less fan noise under heavy load. But I think the zeph makes more sense because u already have a gaming desktop.
legion has good cooling and a better screen, go legion
I bought a Lenovo Legion, my brother got a Victus. His Victus had severe hardware failure within just 3 weeks and constant memory issues. Given that experience, I'd go Lenovo all the way! I've always had a good experience with their laptops. He now has a Lenovo LOQ and it's been fantastic.
dont even look at acer or msi. both are garbage with poor build quality, shit thermals and low powered gpu or powersuply. Go lenovo legion if u want oled its best value. loq its also a nice, if too expensive asus rog will be decent
Con The Cons: Real-World Issues
Lucky you! I got a defective Legion Pro 7 2025. I had the motherboard replaced under warranty, but the authorized service center messed up the laptop's geometry, and Lenovo refuses to address the issue.
