Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
Bright room, hard choice Canada Looking at LG B5 for a seemingly nice deal, 55 inch at 90. A 65 inch would be nice in this space also but the deal is 1200 on that model, pushing the budget. Problem is this is a fairly bright space with big high windows. I'm rationalizing that the TV is used more at night and OLEDs just seem better to me. Also motion handling for watching hockey is a big deal. The best deal on miniLED right now looks to be QM7K which can be had for slightly less than the B5 and should handle br
Depending on how bright your living room is I would go with a LG B5 you will have perfect contrast and outstanding blacks with zero blooming. If you can go with a 77" or 83 B5 you won't be disappointed and has Dolby Vision. I think it's a perfect beginner OLED and cheap these days for what you get. Sony and LG are most reliable TV brands followed by TCL. I
Con The Cons: Real-World Issues
Edit: I meant mini-LED Hi, I just purchased an LG B5 and its extremely impressive, but not set on keeping it. My issue is glare.... I often watch TV during the day. I think the TV is bright enough, but the reflections in dark scenes are quite significant and its distracting. I don't have the option to significantly reduce the light in the room. I understand that a high end mini-LED TV like the U88QG is very bright, but that probably wont help reflections during dark scenes right? Thank you very much lg b5 m
