Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
The s90f has a better anti flare coating. I got the C5. Had that same issues so returned for the 90. Then saw the 95 in store, gave the 90 to my dad and got myself the S95f. If in your price range I highly suggest the S95f
Since I'm still in the return window, I am considering returning and getting an S90F, since Rtings lists it as having better reflection handling (even at the cost of raised black levels, which I c
the S90F looks absolutely insane, highly recommend
my s90f is awesome. love it
I narrowed my two choices down to the hisense u8qg 65" and the Samsung s90f. The reason I didn't throw the TCL into the mix when I went to Best Buy and saw the hisense and TCL side by side the hisense blew it out of the water. It was briter punchy sharper and handle motion great. And the Samsung s90f really didn't look that much better for 400.00 more and it
The C5 and S90F trade blows really but Tizen on the Samsung is fucking awful. WebOS isn't fantastic either, but it's worlds better than Tizen. If you're going to use an external source like Apple TV or other streaming box/stick, then I'd probably go with the S90F for its colours. The S90F + free soundbar bundle is a no-brainer.
We have the S90F and it’s great. Super bright and HDR10+ is amazing. I don’t feel like we are missing out on Dolby Vision.
Samsung s90f or lg c5 would be your best options the s90f is better in a light controlled/dark room The lg c5 will probably be a bit better in a bright room But note that lg has Dolby Vision which samsung doesnt and the lg has better upscaling
Can only tell you my experience with an S90F has been flawless. Zero issues, perfect panel, delivery was on time and a great experience. I would honestly ignore a lot of the haters on Reddit, its the LG army here. And anecdotally I am seeing A LOT of people reporting issues (on here) with C5 and G5 units. Dead on arrival, dead pixels, terrible unifority... y
I just got an S90F and have been very happy with it so far. It is directly across from a window and unless you’re watching a lot of dark shows/movies the reflections are not noticeable. Obviously will be even less noticeable on a S95F

Samsung S90F failed in 6 weeks warranty service nightmare Purchased a Samsung S90F 55" on December 29. On February 12, it developed a horizontal flickering line across the screen. I was slightly outside Best Buy's exchange period. They told me Samsung's 1-year warranty must be used first. Geek Squad said the same. Samsung troubleshooting didn't fix it, so they scheduled a technician. The tech never contacted me. When I reached out myself, they said they couldn't service a 55" and would notify Samsung. i just bought the c5 but feeling like made the wrong choice bcos s90f has a better panel. may usage are waching movies, youtube and also i am an cinematograpger, editor and colorist so it will be my main workhorse. just feeling bad that i bought an inferior panel purely based on color volume, brightness is not an issue but colors are. c5 s90f c5 s90f
Id go with the G5. I had both the C5 and s90f and imo the c5 was way better (for gaming) The s90f has more vivid colors, but the motion handling when moving fast on games to be was buttersmooth on the C5 and a bit choppy and didnt look as good on the C5. I know these are both the tier down from the tvs you are inquiring about - but I had the c5 in a room
