I debated between these two for ages and ended up settling on the S95F because 1) side by side in store I thought it looked better; and 2) my living room is bright. I’ve had it for 4 months now and don’t regret it at all. Every game looks gorgeous. I think you will probably be very happy with either TV.

Reddit users are repeating a similar read across 7 separate discussion sources, not just one isolated thread. The upside keeps pointing back to brightness and HDR impact, but complaints around image processing issues are strong enough to shape the recommendation. So the fit is easier to explain for movie watchers than as a blanket recommendation. In buyer terms, it acts more like a home-theater-leaning TV than a category leader.

Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
G6's HGIG has issues. In HGIG mode, the brightness of the white cube reached 2500 nits. However, in real-world gaming, the maximum brightness is only around 1300 nits. I don't know where the problem lies. My S95F can reach the peak brightness. For example, with a game output of 2200 nits, the S95F outputs 2145 nits. With a game output of 2500 nits, the G6 outputs only 1300 nits. Furthermore, the G6 only disappears at 2700 nits under Windows 11 calibration. 2700 nits equals an actual 9000 nits, which is obviousl
S95F Connect One box I recently got this TV after my LG oled started shutting down due to overheating. The S95F is, by far, the best TV I've ever seen. It's clarity and pure whites are jaw dropping. But I have some concerns about the One Connect box. It's not vented on the top or bottom. The only vents seem to be on the sides. I've given the box 2" if clearance on the top and bottom but it still seems to get quite warm. I'm concerned about impact this might have on long term reliability. Other than giving this box
i can't stand the matte screen but that's my personal opinion. The panel itself is great on S95F
I’ve had the s95f for about a month. It’s been amazing so far. Love the matte screen that eliminated all the irritating reflections I was dealing with. Game on it with a ps5 quite a bit and it looks amazing. I use an Apple TV so don’t care about the software. I read a lot of horror stories here about the S95f but so far so good. Easy to set up out of the box, the hardest part was trusting my wife to lift her half. Next time I’ll find a buddy lol
I was wondering the same thing and considering the G5 or the S95f 65 inch to replace my LG CX 55 inch. After a lot of in store comparisons and 2 weeks to decide with rtings reviews and redit reading I got the S95f. It's considered the better TV for gaming, I don't have an issue with magenta tint even compares to my LG CX it looks fine unless it's really brig
I own a S95F and an A95L. Sony is best but expensive lol. But in regards to this; S95F all the way. I love it! It’s great especially for broad daylight and the anti matte coating doesn’t take too much away from the beauty of oled.
Con The Cons: Real-World Issues
I wouldn’t recommend the s95f as the motion processing is horrible ya the anti glare is nice but you will be overall unhappy with the Samsung.
I have the S95f and had to choose between G5,S95f and the Sony was marginally more expensive but I still considered it. Generally speaking Sony is probably a bit better TV overall but I personally will never buy a mirror finished TV unless I move in to a cave which doesn't seem likely. Sony has better processing and better upscaling, Samsung has the better p
Both my S90 and S95F had micro stuttering when watching Netflix because of the 24 FPS content. I returned it and got a C5.
Question for S95F owners, how has your experience been with motion? I dig the picture and the potential for the matte screen to fight reflections, but whenever I check out the display at Best Buy, I always notice stutter in the picture. They even had a Blu Ray playing in the magnolia room and noticed the motion problem there too. Do you owners see this on your real-world experience? I’m wondering if it’s something my eyes aren’t accustomed to. samsung s95f s95 motion Samsung S95F
