Con The Cons: Real-World Issues
Complaint cheap compared to other models 2026-02-27

Best bang for the buck at current market prices QN90D vs Bravia I'm in the market for a new TV that will serve as the main household TV. I don't want an OLED so I'm looking at the QN90D vs Bravia 7 vs Bravia 9. I must say I'm surprised at how cheap TVs have gotten. Right now I can buy * 75 inch Samsung QN90D: $1300 * 75 inch Sony Bravia 7: $1600 * 65 inch Sony Bravia 7: $1200 * 75 inch Sony Bravia 9: $2600 * 65 inch Sony Bravia 9: $2000 I'm leaning towards a 75 inch for the space. We have a 65 inch QN90A S

Complaint Poor reflection handling 2026-01-02

Recently purchased a Bravia 9, overall great picture but still poorly handles reflections (primarily during the day when sun is shining in) in my very bright living room. Primary use is being good for hockey. Do I basically have the best of the best and live with the glare/reflection or does a better/comparable option exist that I should consider returning the B9 for. 65 inch. bravia 9 65 inch Sony Bravia 9

Better color reproductions 2026-01-13

Personally, I would go for the Bravia 9. The TCL C9K can achieve a higher peak brightness, but there really isn't any HDR content that is mastered to take full advantage of it. With that being said, the Sony is just far more accurate when it comes to color reproductions and picture processing. The TCL C9K crushes black levels and shadow detail but will overblow bright highlights.

> but honestly I'm a tad bummed that the current TV only lasted 7 years at the price that it was. oh boy then you're gonna be more disappointed when I tell you around 5 years is industry standard now Bravia 9 however is fantastic, its my end goal tv of current models for me
