Personally, I would go for the Bravia 9. The TCL C9K can achieve a higher peak brightness, but there really isn't any HDR content that is mastered to take full advantage of it. With that being said, the Sony is just far more accurate when it comes to color reproductions and picture processing. The TCL C9K crushes black levels and shadow detail but will overblow bright highlights.

I don't want an OLED so I'm looking at the QN90D vs Bravia 7 vs Bravia 9. I must say I'm surprised at how cheap TVs have gotten.
