Thinkpad E14 gen 7 - Intel core Ultra 5 225H Powerhouse but the fans.... I've been rocking the E14 gen 7 over a week now and in short I think this is the best bang for the buck you can get. Mine include a 2.8K display 100%srgb and 120Hz. I paid 900 for it. Had my own RAM and SSD to upgrade. I notice the fans keep spinning and was wondering if this is due the fact that I use Best performance as power mode when plugged in. Save some money by* getting an used lenovo thinkpad ( possibly an AMD x86_64 architecture system no older than 3rd gen). You will have a stable system that has most functionalities you desire which can occasionally do some gaming like CSGO, Valorant etc. But, if you really want to get a new one, HP doesn't seems so bad. The lenovo should work for you in most cases if you want to save some money for something else like a keyboard/mouse or books or whatever you want to.

Got it repaired a few times but as the port is soldered to the motherboard it's gone for good this time.
