The AZ100 will do. They have a wider soundstage and lean towards a warmer sound, however that can be easily EQed to get them sounding how you like them. If you are into rock or metal you will need to push the upper mids and highs up to get the guitars sounding more natural as they tend to be veiled out of the box. I do feel the MTW4s are the best for rock and metal though, but the AZ100 gets close enough. Any other genre besides rock and metal, the AZ100 does an awesome job. For earbuds you would be best suited with either the Denon Perl Pro or the Technic AZ100. I'm my user experience neither go as dead into my ear canal, which was a major bonus. Currently using the Denons as my Android device daily buds. Amazing sound

I guess as an overall package AZ100 is better as it has better battery life, ANC and call quality. Sound wise though they are comparable. I've done A/B testing between the two after tuning both to my liking and it's hard to come up with a winner.

As an MTW4 owner, I’d say get AZ100 because my MTW4 can be finicky and sometimes have issues like squealing when twisting in ear or not showing up in the app, even though they are connected on occasion. But they do sound amazing and they are really comfortable.
