The noise cancellation is also so crazy. I plan on getting the Max 2 sometime soon.

Aside from that, it tends to shift or even fall off if you’re not upright despite its strong clamp force, mainly because of how heavy it is. The ear cushions also soak up sweat and can start to smell pretty bad if they aren’t cleaned regularly. The problem is that frequent washing can wear them out much faster. I have both the AirPods Max and the hdb630. Both to me are pretty close in terms of sq but differ in style of implementation. I find the hdb630’s tuning to be the most versatile out of the box with all genres of music and has a nice laid back and fun presentation, whereas APM can sound a little edgy on some tracks. If you are into Spatial Audio, APM’s Spatial Audio implementation is really good for tv shows and movies that support it. I would suggest going for the one that feels the most comfy for your head/ea
