Best For
- Your room is bright and you need an OLED that fights reflections.
- You game and want a clear, bright picture with accurate color.
- You'll pair it with an external streamer instead of leaning on Tizen.
Quick take
The Samsung S95F has become the go-to OLED for bright rooms: owners repeatedly say its matte anti-glare screen eats reflections that wreck other OLEDs, while the QD-OLED picture stays clear with jaw-dropping whites. The reservations are motion processing, which a couple of owners found juddery enough to return, and a Tizen OS most just bypass with an Apple TV. For sunlit living rooms and gaming, the feedback is strong.

Samsung S95F gets its strongest positive signal from matte screen looks amazing. The points below summarize why buyers keep it on their shortlist.
Against sunshine and reflection. Mini-LED or OLED? I am between two models. 1- OLED S95F 2- QLED N90F or N93F Both offer glare free. TV stays between two windows and exposed by day long sunshine. To minimize the reflection what is the best to choose wisely OLED S95F QLED N90F OLED S95F QLED N90F or N93F
Yep, after my first OLED TV in 2021 the LG CX 55, i got an OLED laptop with 3k res in 2023 then bought Samsung s95f QD OLED 1 year ago + got ASRock WOLED monitor and recently gigabyte tandem WOLED. I can never go back to old IPS maybe mini led but IPS and TN nope
I love my S95F. You can completely bypass the OS if you attach an Apple TV or equivalent to it. The LG or Sony ones would be the best choice for most of us. They are brilliant in bright rooms. In my case, I have can lights and other lights that cause strong reflections in the screen and the matte of the S95F just ate them up. I can play with my PS5, watch movies, stream, whatever and not need to be bothered with a nice reflection of a light showing up in a dark part of the screen.
It's worth it; peak brightness has increased by 30%, and the S95F's HDR color mode has been fixed. Of course, the S95F is perfectly fine, and you can also save money if you want.
The S95F seems like a better deal, but you really should try seeing them in store to see if you like the anti-glare on it. It can be really great in a bright room with no direct light on it, but some people prefer reflections from a glossy screen over the raised blacks and purple tint
I debated between these two for ages and ended up settling on the S95F because 1) side by side in store I thought it looked better; and 2) my living room is bright. I’ve had it for 4 months now and don’t regret it at all. Every game looks gorgeous. I think you will probably be very happy with either TV.
G6's HGIG has issues. In HGIG mode, the brightness of the white cube reached 2500 nits. However, in real-world gaming, the maximum brightness is only around 1300 nits. I don't know where the problem lies. My S95F can reach the peak brightness. For example, with a game output of 2200 nits, the S95F outputs 2145 nits. With a game output of 2500 nits, the G6 outputs only 1300 nits. Furthermore, the G6 only disappears at 2700 nits under Windows 11 calibration. 2700 nits equals an actual 9000 nits, which is obviousl
S95F Connect One box I recently got this TV after my LG oled started shutting down due to overheating. The S95F is, by far, the best TV I've ever seen. It's clarity and pure whites are jaw dropping. But I have some concerns about the One Connect box. It's not vented on the top or bottom. The only vents seem to be on the sides. I've given the box 2" if clearance on the top and bottom but it still seems to get quite warm. I'm concerned about impact this might have on long term reliability. Other than giving this box
i can't stand the matte screen but that's my personal opinion. The panel itself is great on S95F
I’ve had the s95f for about a month. It’s been amazing so far. Love the matte screen that eliminated all the irritating reflections I was dealing with. Game on it with a ps5 quite a bit and it looks amazing. I use an Apple TV so don’t care about the software. I read a lot of horror stories here about the S95f but so far so good. Easy to set up out of the box, the hardest part was trusting my wife to lift her half. Next time I’ll find a buddy lol
I was wondering the same thing and considering the G5 or the S95f 65 inch to replace my LG CX 55 inch. After a lot of in store comparisons and 2 weeks to decide with rtings reviews and redit reading I got the S95f. It's considered the better TV for gaming, I don't have an issue with magenta tint even compares to my LG CX it looks fine unless it's really brig
I own a S95F and an A95L. Sony is best but expensive lol. But in regards to this; S95F all the way. I love it! It’s great especially for broad daylight and the anti matte coating doesn’t take too much away from the beauty of oled.
Check motion processing poor before buying Samsung S95F, especially if it affects your daily use case.
Samsung S95F 77" screen problem No idea where this came from. I've tried a small microfiber cloth on it but it doesn't seem to help at all. Can someone tell me if this looks like the screen is damaged or if it looks like it can be cleaned off? Samsung S95F Samsung S95F

Best TV Right now? s95F vs LG/sony Hey I would like to get help on choosing a premium TV. Our room is pretty to very bright so the S95F was the first one which caught my eyes. But the OS seems to be horrid according to online comments. Our viewing angle is about 100 degrees. Prefered size 65'. We mostly use it for movies/shows and not really for gaming. I like the LG laser pointer remote but not sure if the TVs are that good to warrant it. Thanks in advance for your help! S95F LG sony S95F LG/sony Best TV
I wouldn’t recommend the s95f as the motion processing is horrible ya the anti glare is nice but you will be overall unhappy with the Samsung.
I have the S95f and had to choose between G5,S95f and the Sony was marginally more expensive but I still considered it. Generally speaking Sony is probably a bit better TV overall but I personally will never buy a mirror finished TV unless I move in to a cave which doesn't seem likely. Sony has better processing and better upscaling, Samsung has the better p
Both my S90 and S95F had micro stuttering when watching Netflix because of the 24 FPS content. I returned it and got a C5.
Question for S95F owners, how has your experience been with motion? I dig the picture and the potential for the matte screen to fight reflections, but whenever I check out the display at Best Buy, I always notice stutter in the picture. They even had a Blu Ray playing in the magnolia room and noticed the motion problem there too. Do you owners see this on your real-world experience? I’m wondering if it’s something my eyes aren’t accustomed to. samsung s95f s95 motion Samsung S95F

Quick answers to the main review, complaints, buyer-fit, and comparison questions shoppers ask before choosing Samsung S95F.
It's the standout reason to buy one. Owners repeatedly say the matte anti-glare screen eliminates the reflections from windows and lights that ruin glossy OLEDs, making it excellent in bright rooms.
It's the main complaint. Owners notice judder and micro-stutter, especially on 24fps content like Netflix, and one returned the S95F for an LG C5 specifically over motion.
Owners cross-shopping the two have tended to pick the S95F — for bright-room performance and gaming — and one measured it holding its rated peak brightness in real gameplay where the LG G6 fell short.
Yes — owners game on it heavily, including with a PS5, and say games look gorgeous. One specifically calls out no magenta tint, a concern on some OLEDs.
Owners concede Sony's OLEDs can edge it on processing, but those who compared still chose the S95F for bright-room performance and value. One felt the premium over cheaper sets wasn't worth an extra $1k, so weigh it against your room and budget.
