Complaint Crashes with high quality content 2026-05-18
Bravia 9 Crashing Just bought a Bravia 9 65 inches from Best Buy last week. I'm running into an issue where whenever I play high quality content the TV crashes and restarts. It's very strange, as this only happens with high quality content I don't have any issues playing low quality content such as YouTube, YouTube tv, free channels, etc, however when I play high quality content (anything in Apple TV app, Sony productions app, or even a 4K video on YouTube) the TV freezes (pressing buttons on remote won't do any
Complaint Light bleed/blooming issue on menu 2026-05-18
Bravia 9 85 Light bleed on app menu. Normal or defect panel? Hey everyone, Pulled the trigger on an 85" Sony Bravia 9 from Best Buy. The TV is incredible, but I'm noticing a weird quirk and need a sanity check before my 30-day return window closes. On app homepages (Netflix, YouTube), I get noticeable light bleed/blooming on dark screens around the screen corners. But the second I actually play a movie or a show? It completely vanishes. The blacks become totally inky and perfect. It's like local dimming basical
Like better long term durability 2026-05-06
Bravia 9 for better long term durability plus it’s almost like an OLED experience and brighter. I have the old A80K 65” , amazing TV although it’s not the flagship I’m more than pleased with it, but noticed if my curtains are a bit open I can seriously tell that I need to bump up the brightness by a lot. So my personal opinion Bravia 9 is a go. OLED Is an amazing experience but it depends entirely on your usage and lightning conditions. Best of luck.
Like better blacks full screen brightness 2026-05-06
I have an OLED and the Bravia 9. I like the Bravia 9 more. Sure the OLED can get perfect blacks but the Bravia 9 comes within 95% of those blacks and has all the perks of mini-led like full screen non restrained brightness, eye searing HDR highlights, no black crush, visible shadow detail, etc. I’m big into 4K physical media and there are a healthy amount

Like fair condition is concerning 2026-04-25
Bravia 9 85" Open Box: Excellent ($2409) vs Fair ($2089) Found two open-box 85" Bravia 9s at nearby Best Buys. One is listed as **Excellent** for $2,409.99 and the other is **Fair** for $2,089.99. They are about 40 mins from me and 40 mins from each other. For those who have gone the "Fair" route, what should I expect? Is it usually just missing the stand/remote, or should I be worried about the panel? Since it's a Mini-LED and not OLED, is the "Fair" rating less of a concern regarding "burn-in"? What specifi

Like preferred over QM8K 2026-03-14
I still have my 65 inch KS8000. it’s a great television. There’s something about first gen high end QLED TVs without local dimming zones that feel vibrant almost like oled. granted the blacks are nowhere near OLED, local dimming helps with this. Samsung image processing on the KS8000 is much better compared TCL, esp. with upscaling. This is primarily the reason why I returned my QM8K for a Sony Bravia 9.

Complaint Poor reflection handling 2026-01-02
Recently purchased a Bravia 9, overall great picture but still poorly handles reflections (primarily during the day when sun is shining in) in my very bright living room. Primary use is being good for hockey. Do I basically have the best of the best and live with the glare/reflection or does a better/comparable option exist that I should consider returning the B9 for. 65 inch. bravia 9 65 inch Sony Bravia 9
