There’s something about first gen high end QLED TVs without local dimming zones that feel vibrant almost like oled. granted the blacks are nowhere near OLED, local dimming helps with this. Samsung image processing on the KS8000 is much better compared TCL, esp. with upscaling. This is primarily the reason why I returned my QM8K for a Sony Bravia 9.
