So Best Buy shows fake prices and then discounts them. So the Qm5k is not actually worth $900. Based off that “sale” I’d say you’re only getting like $50-100 off. For reference, I just bought a 75” QM7k for $1000, so the 65” QM5K is definitely not work $900

what do you prefer more for that use case, high refresh rate or better picture quality? From what i know about those two models that's pretty much the main difference. Do you have a console or pc that can hit those higher numbers at 4k? The Qm5k CAN do 144hz but only at 1440p or 1080p so unless you're dead set on high refresh at 4k the Qm5k will look as good as your Qm6k since it uses the same panel tech except for the 144hz at 4k. I'd personally just go with the 5k since I would totally notice the inferior picture
