Deeper Read
This is not coming from one Reddit thread alone. The same broad read shows up across 7 separate discussion sources. Buyers keep returning to strong value for the money, while no one downside settles into the lead. So the fit is easier to explain for sports viewers than as a blanket recommendation. That leaves it reading more like a mixed-use living-room TV than a universal default.

Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
No. Get the QM6K for just a little bit more for an upgrade to 144Hz and mini LED backlighting
I own a 65" TCL QM6K Pro that I bought at Costco...and it's a really good TV. Costco has this TV on sale until February 27, 2026, for $529.99, and that includes five-years of warranty coverage. The QM6K Pro that Costco sells is an upgrade from the regular QM6K that is sold at places like Amazon and Best Buy. I believe that the QM6K Pro has the Crystglow HVA panel from the QM7K that the regular QM6K lacks. The QM6K Pro is available at Costco in 55", 65", 75", 85" and 98" screen sizes, and each has a five-year wa
I also picked up the QM6K Pro from Costco but in 75β. Games looks great on it!
TCL QM6K pro is the only good tv listed here
I have both in my house. The QM6K is impressive for the price but the Sony is the better tv.
Best Buy and Amazon both have the TCL QM6K @ 65" on sale for about $600 USD. According to [Rtings.com](http://Rtings.com) that is the best "budget" TV on the market right now. Hisense U6 is about $70 cheaper but is brighter overall, has worse black levels however. These two sets are on deep discount but if you can afford a bit more than that, Super Bowl discounts are about to hit so it might be worth holding out another week or two. You may get a better unit for similar money.
From what I've seen, the QM6K is the best performing budget TV you can get right now. I picked one up a few weeks ago after my Sony X900H bit the dust. The motion processing isn't as good as the Sony, but the color and picture quality are surprisingly good for the price. The only issue I've had with the TCL so far is that the built in Disney+ and ESPN app ha
I just bought a QM6K and I love it
This is a great post because I have both the 65β QM6K and the 55βQM7K. I can say I find them both to be great tvβs.. if you want the 65β you will not be disappointed with the QM6K..
