Out of those options, I’d say QM7K is the price:performance sweet spot. Bravia has better processing and motion handling, but you pay a big premium for it. An Apple TV 4K or NVIDIA Shield Pro is a cost effective way to reduce the processing gap if most of what you watch can be streamed through those.
Complaint Screen blemish issue 2026-05-18
Issues with 77" My wife was nice enough to gdt me a qm7k 77" TV for our anniversary about 6 weeks ago, from best buy. Im still able to buy the insurance for it, but she didnt do that in store. There is now a weird blemish, smaller than a penny, but definitely not on outermost layer of the screen as I can feel anything. Looks like delamoniation or something? TV was pu face down on a king size he'd while feet were attached, then it was put up on a TV stand. Its never been hit, dropped, whatever. So its weird im just

Theater Klipsch/TCL QM7K 85" First time post on here. Just installed the TCL QM7k 85in. I'm pretty impressed so far. Having OLED, Plasma and LED. The mini LED is in a class of its own. The Klipsch 5.2.2 is powered by an Onyko TX Nr7100. I have yet to set up the Dirac Live and have tuned Db's by ear for now. This is the start to almost completion of the Theater/ Game room. Room is completely spray foamed and Rock wool on all walls. The rug has a sound dampening 3/8 pad under it. Unfortunately the room was not pre-w

Recent Best buy TCL QM7K purchase with buzzing issue advice I recently had a TCL QM7K delivered to my house from Best buy, horrible experience from 3rd party installers, I already set up a claim with Best buy for that. Now I have an a known issue with buzzing that sounds like Morse code coming from left side of TV. Its reported that it happens during bright scenes, but I sometime hear it during regular scenes. What are my options and how does Best buy handle returns or exchanges. I was thinking about returning exc

New 98 inch tv recommendations? I have a budget around 2k…..but that's the top of my budget. Id prefer to spend 1500 but I also want something nicer so I'm willing to spend 2k if it's worth it. Im looking at the TCL QM7K, nothing seems to come close for the price but let me know your thoughts please! It's hard to compare every model out there and I'm sure Ive missed a few good ones. Complaint Motion handling and upscaling issues returned 2026-04-06
Just when I thought the motion issues were fixed….they're back!!! I've had a 75" QM7K since November and while there are a lot great aspects of the tv the motion handling and upscaling were horrendous. I did the newest V321 via usb a little over a month ago and I was finally enjoying this tv! Turning on Dynamic acceleration fixed the judder, and ghosting issue, and turning on super resolution made the upscaling like 80% better. Well that lasted about a month or so! Over the past week the judder, and ghosting h

TCL QM7K 55' or QM7K 65' I'm considering these two TV's and trying to do some research on what would be best given my expected use. 1. Some 4k content but not exclusively. 2. Mostly gaming on these consoles (PS3/PS4, Xbox 360, Wii-U and perhaps PS5 and Xbox Series X). Assuming the current gen is just fine would the retro console upscaling be an issue on the 55 and worth going with the larger model? 3. This is for a bedroom, so the 55 inch would more properly fit the space of a master bedroom that isn't terribl

I have a 75” QM7K and love it. I initially was looking at the QM6K but when I saw both side by side at Best Buy I decided to spend the extra $200 for the QM7K. It was noticeably brighter and the colors popped more and there’s better contrast. The room I have the set in is south facing and has plenty of sunlight and the tv is more than bright enough. Depending on what your budget is I think it’s worth the extra money for the upgraded tv

2025/2026 R635 Upgrade I recently underwent a move with a moving company, and they damaged my 2021 65" R635. I'm working with them on a settlement for the TV, so I've been doing my research to investigate what a currently available equivalent would be. As best I can tell, a 65" QM7K is probably the most reasonable equivalent (especially compared to their first suggestion of replacing it with a T7). I have dug into the specifications that I can find, but I am looking for any sources (hard evidence/numbers) that I c

The QM7K is by far the better TV. The QN90F is the only really good Samsung MiniLED, and the QN80F is the bare minimum of what you would want in a MiniLED. The QM7K is brighter, has deeper black levels, and has better contrast.
Complaint Smaller viewing angle 2026-03-03
I just bought the QM7K. The picture is great except for one very small annoyance. The tv has a smaller viewing angle than the reviewers have reported. Because of where I sit the bright whites on the left become somewhat dingy passing to the right of center. Moving towards the center those dingy whites become whiter.

The QM7K 55” goes on sale for $600 every couple months. I’d recommend that one. I owned them both I first bought the 6K pro on the week of Thanksgiving and after a few weeks decided it lacked too much detail in darker scenes and felt the tv lacked brightness so I returned it and got the 7K which is brighter and also has better color.

Bright room, hard choice Canada Looking at LG B5 for a seemingly nice deal, 55 inch at 90. A 65 inch would be nice in this space also but the deal is 1200 on that model, pushing the budget. Problem is this is a fairly bright space with big high windows. I'm rationalizing that the TV is used more at night and OLEDs just seem better to me. Also motion handling for watching hockey is a big deal. The best deal on miniLED right now looks to be QM7K which can be had for slightly less than the B5 and should handle br

I returned a 65" Bravia 8 OLED for an 85" qm7k, and it's brighter but not as easy on the eyes. I kind of feel like I should have done an 83" B5, but for now I'm staying with the qm7k. The scale is definitely awesome. Just sucks a lot of content has to be upscaled and doesn't look as good . 4k content looks great though

Complaint Not great picture quality 2026-01-26
98 QM7K but get the extended warranty. Be prepared to make adjustments as it’s not great picture quality out of the box. If you want the easiest choice go with either of the other two as they are solid out of the box. I was considering the 85” Bravia 9 but I went with the 98 QM7K in my media room to see what all the hype was. It’s not my best tv in the house but the screen size is worth it and with a few tweaks it’s pretty good.
