I have a 75” QM7K and love it. I initially was looking at the QM6K but when I saw both side by side at Best Buy I decided to spend the extra $200 for the QM7K. It was noticeably brighter and the colors popped more and there’s better contrast. The room I have the set in is south facing and has plenty of sunlight and the tv is more than bright enough. Depending on what your budget is I think it’s worth the extra money for the upgraded tv

Deeper Read
Reddit users are repeating a similar read across 14 separate discussion sources, not just one isolated thread. Strong value for the money is the clearest draw, yet complaints around picture quality are too consistent to ignore. That keeps the recommendation clearest for movie watchers, rather than for everyone shopping this category. So it comes across more as a home-theater-leaning TV than a category-defining favorite.

Pro The Pros: What Redditors Love
Just got this tcl qm7k (98 inch) about a week ago and so far it's been amazing added the govee back light and the floor lamp to be "a little extra" from time to time definitely one of the best purchases I've made in a while. [link] https://v.redd.it/yq5d26zupwpg1 tcl qm7k tcl qm7k
The QM7K is by far the better TV. The QN90F is the only really good Samsung MiniLED, and the QN80F is the bare minimum of what you would want in a MiniLED. The QM7K is brighter, has deeper black levels, and has better contrast.
The QM7K is better in every way except price.
Best purchase in a while! Recently got my tax return back and decided I wanted a new tv, after some research I landed on the 85" tcl qm7k. I am coming from a 65" vizio v655-g9, huge improvement overall, better be for almost 3x the price am I right haha 85" tcl qm7k 65" vizio v655-g9 85" tcl qm7k 65" vizio v655-g9
The QM7K 55” goes on sale for $600 every couple months. I’d recommend that one. I owned them both I first bought the 6K pro on the week of Thanksgiving and after a few weeks decided it lacked too much detail in darker scenes and felt the tv lacked brightness so I returned it and got the 7K which is brighter and also has better color.
Bright room, hard choice Canada Looking at LG B5 for a seemingly nice deal, 55 inch at 90. A 65 inch would be nice in this space also but the deal is 1200 on that model, pushing the budget. Problem is this is a fairly bright space with big high windows. I'm rationalizing that the TV is used more at night and OLEDs just seem better to me. Also motion handling for watching hockey is a big deal. The best deal on miniLED right now looks to be QM7K which can be had for slightly less than the B5 and should handle br
I returned a 65" Bravia 8 OLED for an 85" qm7k, and it's brighter but not as easy on the eyes. I kind of feel like I should have done an 83" B5, but for now I'm staying with the qm7k. The scale is definitely awesome. Just sucks a lot of content has to be upscaled and doesn't look as good . 4k content looks great though
I just bought the TCL QM7K 65” and love it. It was $799.99 when I got it two weeks ago. Looks like it’s back up to $1000.00. Maybe check prices next week for Prez day sales
QM7K has far more dimming zones, better contrast and blacks so definitely worth the extra if you can afford it.
QM7K is a much better tv no matter what room you're in. Had both and kept the QM7K, it was just night and day.
I have the tcl qm7k and it is phenomenal. I also use my friends lg oled alot so i have some thoughts. Unless the oled is only 20% more for the same screen size i would absolutely not do it. The mini led does 95% of what an oled does for my eyes. The contrast is incredible. Most of the time it looks oled
Con The Cons: Real-World Issues
Just when I thought the motion issues were fixed….they're back!!! I've had a 75" QM7K since November and while there are a lot great aspects of the tv the motion handling and upscaling were horrendous. I did the newest V321 via usb a little over a month ago and I was finally enjoying this tv! Turning on Dynamic acceleration fixed the judder, and ghosting issue, and turning on super resolution made the upscaling like 80% better. Well that lasted about a month or so! Over the past week the judder, and ghosting h
I just bought the QM7K. The picture is great except for one very small annoyance. The tv has a smaller viewing angle than the reviewers have reported. Because of where I sit the bright whites on the left become somewhat dingy passing to the right of center. Moving towards the center those dingy whites become whiter.
98 QM7K but get the extended warranty. Be prepared to make adjustments as it’s not great picture quality out of the box. If you want the easiest choice go with either of the other two as they are solid out of the box. I was considering the 85” Bravia 9 but I went with the 98 QM7K in my media room to see what all the hype was. It’s not my best tv in the house but the screen size is worth it and with a few tweaks it’s pretty good.
