I went from a 85" TCL 6K to a 83" B4, yes your 8K is a much "better" Tv than the 6K I had but they all use the same processor, I had experienced some of same issues you are experiencing but the specific reason for return was the motion handling was legitimately the worst I've ever seen on a modern TV, I tried everything I could and eventually just said F it.
